Description
This is a terrace of five houses located on Grove Street, built around 1850. The houses are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays, with No. 9 projecting slightly. There is a first-floor sill band, along with a top frieze and cornice. The windows mostly consist of casements with wedge lintels, and there are round-headed windows with blind windows above them. No. 1 has a consoled doorcase and a ground-floor sash window without glazing bars. No. 3 also features a consoled doorcase. No. 7 has sashed windows, again without glazing bars. No. 9 has a rendered ground floor and an inserted shop front, topped with a hipped roof.
