Description

A terrace of early 19th-century houses, numbered 9 to 25, stands on the north side of Mount Street. The buildings are constructed of brick with stone dressings, topped by a slate roof. They are three storeys high with a basement, and consist of one bay per house. A sill band runs along the first floor of numbers 15 to 25, and a top cornice completes the building line. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows, most with glazing bars. Round-arched doorways contain recessed panelled doors, with complete fanlights above the doorways of numbers 9, 11, 13, 17, and 21. Numbers 19 to 25 have architraves and keystones to their entrances, and feature plain iron area railings. Number 25 has a first-floor balcony.
