Description

No. 8 Mount Street is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays. The windows have wedge lintels; the first-floor windows are sashed with glazing bars, while the other floors have casement windows. The central entrance is flanked by flat pilasters and has a panelled frieze and cornice. There is an inserted entrance to the right, which has an inserted window above it on the second floor. The house also has a one-bay return to Pilgrim Street.
