Description
The property at 6 Mill Street, Preesall with Hackensall is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. The design is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and two bays. Pilaster strips flank the facade, with a second pair framing the doorway. A stone eaves cornice runs along the top of the facade. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, simple reveals, and projecting stone sills. The ground floor windows have stone lintels. A two-column Tuscan porch supports a cornice. Above the porch is a plaque bearing worn initials. Gable chimneys are present.
