Description

The pump located north of Greenhalgh Castle Farmhouse dates from 1825. It features a lead tank with a spout, supported by two vertical timber supports that are attached to a wall, and has a cast-iron handle. The front of the tank is marked with the raised letters 'EED 1825'.
