Description
Garstang Turnpike Bridge, built in 1797, is a public road bridge over the Lancaster Canal, designed by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from squared sandstone blocks and features a single elliptical arch. It has a solid parapet with a band and a rounded top, with a stepped keystone below.
