Description
Byerworth Bridge, located on Byerworth Lane in Barnacre-with-Bonds, is an accommodation bridge over the Lancaster Canal, opened in 1797 and designed by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from squared sandstone blocks and features a single elliptical arch. Below the solid parapet, which has a band and a rounded top, there is a stepped keystone.
