Description

Turner's Bridge, located in Barnacre-with-Bonds, is an accommodation bridge over the Lancaster Canal, which was opened in 1797 and designed by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from squared sandstone blocks and features a single elliptical arch. Below the solid parapet, there is a stepped keystone, and the parapet itself has a band and a rounded top.
