Description

This is a pump located against the north-east wall of a bakehouse, situated one metre north-east of number 54 on The Street in Stisted. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of lead and wrought iron, housed in an oak case. The cistern features a moulded border and an embossed design that includes scrolls and rosettes. It has a plain round handle and a forked support made of wrought iron for the spout, although one side of the support is broken. The pump is otherwise complete and remains in unusually good condition. It is mounted against a building that is not listed.
