Description

This is an 18th-century pump located approximately 7 metres north-east of Cobham Oak Cottages. It features a lead cistern, spout, and barrel, along with a wrought iron handle and mechanism housed in a wooden case. The front of the cistern is decorated with embossed scrolls above the spout and two embossed paterae below it. There is a twisted wrought iron forked support for the spout and bucket, which is currently detached from its proper position and inverted. The handle is plain, and the pump is complete.
