Description
The Vicarage is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of plastered brick with gault brick stacks and has a slate roof. The building has a long range facing southeast, featuring two axial stacks symmetrically arranged and an external stack at the right end. There is also a later red brick stack at the rear left corner and minor rear extensions.
The house is two storeys high and has a five-window range of sash windows with 12 lights, made with crown glass, and eared and moulded architraves of plaster. The two sashes at the left end have horns, while the others do not. The central entrance features a half-glazed four-panel door set within a simple portico. The roof is low-pitched with parapet gables and kneelers. On the right return, there is one round window at the first floor, which has crossed glazing bars. The interior retains original features.
