Description

This is a pump located 55 metres south of the chapel at Waddington Hospital, likely dating from the early 19th century. It is made of lead and features a cast iron handle and base, along with a renewed timber casing. The pump has a square section and a lead spout that projects from a lead cistern. Each face near the top of the pump displays a lead plate with a deer and the inscription 'RP 1700' cast in relief.
