Description

Ivy Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a two-cell central-entry plan with end stacks and stands two storeys high with two bays. The windows are of three lights, with an outer rebate and inner ovolo. The front door is framed by a stone surround with ovolo moulding. An open stone porch with monolithic sides supports a moulded segmental head held up by moulded brackets. Above the porch is a blank niche that also has an ovolo-moulded stone surround. The gable ends have copings, and there is a later wing at the rear.
