Description

This is a boundary stone made of buff gritstone, standing approximately 1.5 meters high. It features chamfered corners and has the letters "P.P." carved at its top. The stone is thought to mark the boundary of the former monastic estates of Pilling and Cockerham. It is also listed in the 9th list for the district of Wyre in the parish of Pilling.
