Description

Springfield House Hotel is an early 19th-century hotel, originally a house. It is constructed of punched sandstone ashlar with a hipped felt roof. The south front has three bays, with corner pilasters, a plinth, a cornice with a blank frieze, and a projecting central bay. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, plain reveals, and projecting sills. A porch features an entablature supported on Tuscan columns. The west front has four bays and is similar in style, but without the central projection. Chimneys are located on the ridge.
