Description
Bell's Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700. It has a pebbledashed exterior and a thatched roof covered with corrugated iron. The house features a three-unit plan, is two storeys tall, and has three bays. The windows are sashed with plain reveals. The door is located between the second and third bays and may have been added later, as the house was likely originally designed with a lobby-entry plan. There are chimneys on the right-hand gable and between the first and second bays. An outshut is present against part of the rear wall. Inside, the middle room retains the solid spere of the original hearth, although the bressummer has been sawn through, and the two axial beams have been lengthened by splicing.
