Description

A row of three houses, numbered 1, 2 and 3, located in Cockerham. The houses date primarily to the 19th century, but incorporate remnants from the 17th century. The ground floor is built of "slobbered rubble," with brickwork above, all under a slate roof. Each house has two bays, with a doorway situated between them and featuring a simple stone surround. Number 3, on the left, has flush chamfered mullioned windows; a two-light window is on the left and a three-light window on the right. The lintels on the first floor indicate that they are reused elements, as they are rebated. A gabled porch covers the front door. The middle house has mullioned windows with rebated and chamfered surrounds; the first-floor window on the left has three lights and the one on the right has two. The right-hand house similarly features rebated and chamfered mullioned windows with two lights on the left and three lights on the right. Chimneys are present on the gables and between the houses. The interior is reported to contain no architectural features of note.
