This is a dovecote located approximately 40 metres south of Ashurst's Hall, dating from the 17th century and restored in the 1980s. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a square plan topped with a pyramidal roof and a central louvred oak glover. There is a string course below the eaves. On the north and west sides, there are low narrow openings with plain reveals. Below the string course on the north side, there are three small triangular openings with stone perches. The east side has a doorway with plain reveals and a 20th-century oak door. Inside, the dovecote contains stone nesting boxes built into all walls.
