Description
The Dog and Partridge Public House and Number 3 has origins dating back to the 18th century. It is a two-storey building with a pebble-dashed exterior, a Welsh slate roof, and rusticated quoins. The first floor features three windows with stone surrounds and no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century windows with two lights set in chamfered reveals, along with one window in a stone surround. A late 19th-century doorway has carved spandrels and a moulded cornice. To the right, there is a smaller doorway with plain pilasters and a cornice, topped with a rectangular fanlight. The building has a rendered plinth and three stone stacks. The Dog and Partridge Public House and Number 3, along with The Towns Well and Numbers 5 to 9 (odd), form a group, with Number 5 being a building of local interest only.
