Description

The Lettered Board Public House dates from the late 18th century. It is a three-storey brick building with a rendered ground floor and a Welsh slate roof, featuring brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has three windows. The upper floors have windows with no glazing bars, and lintels with keystones to the first floor, with a central triple keystone. A band runs at the cill level above the public house nameboard, which is a modern addition. The ground floor has two windows with plain lintels, and a plinth. The doorway has plain pilasters and a newer pediment, with a plain door to the left. The building is part of a group with numbers 2 to 6 (consec), 5A and 6A, and numbers 8, 8A and 9.
