Description
26 and 28 Duck Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high, constructed from coursed stone with a gable end facing the road. The front features two windows above, consisting of one small and one large window, both with stone surrounds and no glazing bars. There is a stone surround with a cornice above a modern door, which includes a rectangular fanlight. The side elevation of No 28 has blocked windows and a door. At the back, there is a rear wing that appears to date from the mid to late 19th century. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 12 (even), Nos 14 and 16, and the premises occupied by Ceramica Italia Ltd, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble with Nos 26 to 32 (even).
