Description
The premises occupied by Ribble Valley Borough Council are located in the grounds of Clitheroe Castle and date from the early to mid-19th century. This three-storey building is constructed from coursed stone with ashlar dressings and is designed in the Gothic style.
On the left side, there is a turret that is square in section, featuring two arched windows on each of its three floors and topped with a crenellated parapet. The right section is also crenellated and has two arched windows on its two floors, along with one window to the left. There is a Jacobean style porch that includes two ball finials and a round-headed entry with double doors. Additionally, there are two windows on the right with wooden mullions, each consisting of two lights, and two windows on each of the three floors.
