Description
No 17 on Moor Lane is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall and is rendered with a Welsh slate roof. It features two windows with stone surrounds. The ground floor has a late 19th-century shop front, while the first floor has a late 19th-century shop window with four round-headed lights flanking a single light that has a carved rectangular head, along with foliated carved spandrels. The ground floor shop windows also have a similar carved treatment at the top, complete with carved pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice. This building is part of a group with Nos 15 to 49, where Nos 15 and 19 to 49 are recognized as buildings of local interest only.
