Description

St Michael's Primary School is a former Roman Catholic Church built in 1799. The building has a street elevation of one storey made of stone, featuring three round-headed windows with stone surrounds, keystones, and impost blocks, along with Gothick glazing bars. To the right, there is one square window. The left section of the building is set forward towards the road and has a gabled roof, with three windows in stone surrounds and one shorter window. The three windows have hung sashes with glazing bars and are rendered below the cills. There is a rear extension that dates from 1870. St Michael's Primary School is grouped with Nos 33 and 35 Stanley House and Nos 39 and 41.
