Description
Pump House Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably built in the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It has been divided into two dwellings. The building is constructed of random rubble with quoins, and it is mostly rendered except for the left gable wall. The roof is made of stone slate and features gable chimneys, with two located at the right gable and a central chimney positioned in front of the ridge. The farmhouse has three bays and two storeys, along with a single-storey forward extension to the third bay that includes a porch, and a rear outshut extension connected to this section. Notable architectural features include one recessed chamfered mullion 3-light window on each floor at the front (to the left of centre), a similar 4-light window at the ground floor of the rear part, a 2-light window at the first floor of the right return wall, and an 8-light flush-mullion window at the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
