Description
Lower Trap Farmhouse and integral barn is an 18th-century building that combines a farmhouse and barn under one roof. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof with a chimney located at the left gable. The building faces away from the road and consists of three bays over two storeys. In the centre, there is a large segmental-headed wagon entrance, with a three-light flush-mullion window on each floor to the left and a plain doorway at the right-hand end. Additionally, there is a lean-to addition on the left gable. This structure is noted as a good example of a very small farm unit.
