Description
The farmhouse at Gisburn Cotes Farm dates to the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble, primarily sandstone, with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high with three bays. Windows have simple stone surrounds and are generally of three lights with square mullions. The ground-floor window on the right-hand side is an exception, lacking mullions. A gabled porch, single-storey in height, is located between the second and third bays. Chimneys with brick caps are visible on the right-hand gable and to the right of the left-hand bay.
