Description

The Old Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features modern tiles that imitate stone slates. The building has two storeys and two bays. The windows, which consist of three lights, have plain stone surrounds and mullions with square faces. These have been repaired with cement and are splayed on the inside. The door, located to the left of the right-hand bay, has a chamfered surround. There are end chimneys, with the right-hand stack projecting and featuring offsets. Inside, the main ceiling joists are exposed and chamfered.
