Description

Snape Wood Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, altered subsequently. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with a slate roof, the roof being hipped to the right. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows have chamfered stone surrounds, though the mullions have been removed. A stone surround with a slight chamfer frames the front door, situated between the first and second bays. A chimney is located to the right of the second bay. Inside, the main ceiling joists are chamfered, and on the first floor, there are two plank doors with wooden snecks, set within original frames.
