Description

The Arts Centre, originally a school, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a slate roof with brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with prominent projecting quoins. The windows are fitted with glazing bars and have stone surrounds that include round heads, keystones, and impost blocks. The ground floor windows are equipped with external wooden shutters. In the middle bay, there is a single-storey gabled porch that contains a door framed by a stone surround with a round head and keystone. The gables are adorned with chimneys.
