Description

Three shops, dated 1741 and subsequently altered, stand on the east side of High Street in Garstang. They have a rendered facade with brick chimneys and a slate roof. The building is three storeys high and comprises four bays. The windows on the first and second floors each have three lights, with rendered reveals and timber mullions. Timber hoods shelter the first floor windows. The ground floor features shop windows. A door is centrally positioned between the third and fourth bays, accompanied by a window within what was formerly a doorway. A second door is located between the first and second bays. Above this second door is a plaque bearing the inscription 'EGM 1741 JG'.
