Description

Oak Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with two bays. The windows are of three lights, equipped with flat-faced mullions and plain stone surrounds. The door, located between the bays, has a stone surround with edge roll moulding and is topped with a hood made of two pitched stone slates. Gable chimneys are present on the structure.
