Description
Wood Farmhouse is a house built in the late 18th century. It features pebbledashed rubble with a slate roof and has a double-pile plan. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. The windows are tripartite with plain stone surrounds and square mullions. The door, located between the bays, also has a plain stone surround and is topped with a hood made of two pitched stone slates. There are shaped gutter brackets, and a chimney is situated on the left-hand gable. At the rear, there is a stair window with a plain stone surround and two transoms. Each side of the stair window has one bay with windows that have plain stone surrounds. Most of these windows are of two lights with a square mullion, except for the left-hand ground-floor window, which is a single light. The door to the right of the stair window has a plain stone surround and a hood of two pitched stone slates.
