Description
Hilton Hall is a farmhouse and former cottage dating from the 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features quoins. The roof is made of graduated slate with stone-flagged eaves, and there is an outshut at the rear. The building has stone chimneys at both the mid and end sections. It stands two storeys high and has four bays in total. The original house includes a central gabled porch, with a three-light mullioned window to the left and a two-light mullioned window to the right on each floor. A single-bay cottage was added to the west end, which has a plank door at the front and a single-storey extension at the rear.
