Description

The wall enclosing the garden to the south of Worston Old Hall is a Grade II listed structure. It is built from rubble made of limestone and sandstone, featuring fragments of dressed sandstone that date back to the late medieval period. The eastern wall has a door with a moulded surround. In the south wall, there is an entrance gateway with moulded jambs. To the left of this gateway is a moulded Tudor-arched doorhead, which still retains part of its hood mould. This wall is included in the listing for its group value only.
