Description
The walls on the north and west side of the garden to the east of Bashall Hall are Grade II listed and feature early 18th-century details. Constructed from sandstone rubble, they are topped with sandstone copings and dressings. At the west end of the north wall, there is an architrave that frames a gateway. The east wall includes end piers that display channelled rustication and acorn finials. Toward the center of this wall, there are a pair of piers, now integrated into the wall, which are square in plan and feature moulded bases and cornices, urns, and double-scrolls on their outer sides.
