Description
Edisford Bridge Inn is a public house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with the right-hand bay added in the mid 19th century. The building features scored render with sandstone dressings and a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays. The first and second bays have windows with plain stone surrounds and square mullions, all consisting of four lights, except for the right-hand ground-floor window, which has been altered to three lights with a door featuring a plain stone surround inserted to its right. The right-hand bay contains sashed windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds, although the upper half of the ground-floor window has lost its glazing bars. The building has end stacks and two additional chimneys located between the bays. The right-hand gable wall includes four sashed windows with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds.
