Description

Stephen Bridge is a bridge over Bashall Brook, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a single segmental arch. The bridge has solid parapets that include string courses and weathered copings. Notably, the west end of the north parapet is inscribed with the words 'MITTON. WADDINGTON'.
