Description

Edisford Bridge, located on Edisford Road in the former Municipal Borough of Clitheroe, is an ancient bridge featuring four arches with cutwaters. The main arch is segmental and significantly larger than the other three, which are pointed medieval arches with three ribs. The bridge was widened from approximately 8 feet to about 20 feet.
