Description

This building comprises three properties, 29, 31, and 33 Wellgate, dating back to the 18th century and featuring 19th-century details and render. The properties are three storeys high, with No. 29 being two storeys. No. 31 has a central doorway topped with a semi-circular fanlight and a pediment. It has two windows of two lights to the ground floor, above which are two two-light windows and a central single-light window. The third storey features three single-light windows. No. 29 has one window of two lights on the ground floor and a single light above a window of two lights, with a pedimented doorway. No. 33 is lower than No. 31, and also has three storeys, with one window to the ground floor and a doorway with a cornice above, and a small passage door. The upper storeys each have two windows. There are no glazing bars in any of the windows. The properties are part of a group of buildings of local interest, along with numbers 19 to 27 (odd) and 35 to 43 (odd) Wellgate, and numbers 1 to 9 (odd) Lowergate.
