Description

This is a street lamp located on the pavement in front of No. 8 Bushell Place, likely dating from the mid-19th century and altered since its original construction. It is made of cast iron and features a square pedestal with shouldered panels. The lamp has a fluted shaft adorned with acanthus leaf decoration at the base, two intermediate rings, and a gadrooned cap. The cap is currently topped with a large C-shaped bracket that holds a suspended electric light fitting.
