Description

Church Cottage is a house built in 1771, as indicated by the date above the door. It is constructed of stone with a stone slate roof, featuring stone coping and kneelers. The building has two storeys and is adorned with two 4-light stone mullion windows that have a broad centre mullion, with all mullions and surrounds being flat. There are two steps leading up to a plain doorway. Above the door, there is a semi-circular headed niche with a keystone that contains a datestone reading TG/17 71. The house has gable stacks.
