Description
Fencegate Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century, with possible heightening in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a blue slate roof with stone coping and moulded kneelers. The farmhouse has a two-cell plan and stands two storeys tall.
On the ground floor, there is one four-light and one six-light chamfered stone mullion window, along with a three-light window that has had its mullions removed. The first floor contains a three-light and a five-light flat-faced mullion window, with the mullions being modern replacements. Additionally, there is one small irregular window and one two-light stone mullion window, both of which are blind, as well as one square sash window. To the left of the main façade, there is a doorway situated between the chamfered mullion windows, which features a modern porch.
