Description
Lower White Lee is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed square stone with dressed quoins and has a stone slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features three bays. The front of the house has a central door topped with a triangular pediment. Above the door is a round-headed staircase window with intersecting glazing bars. On the lower floor, there are two three-light windows with a wide middle light, and two two-light windows with round-arched lights located under the eaves. All windows are fitted with square stone mullions.
At the rear, there is a slightly off-centre large round-headed window on the ground floor, with an oculus above that has thick radiating bars. The lower floors at the back have similar three-light windows to those at the front, but with regular-sized lights, and similar two-light windows with smaller panes divided by glazing bars.
