Description

Higher White Lee Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1771, although it has a reset stone at the rear inscribed with "H M/1591". The building is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and includes two double sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance consists of a semi-circular arch-headed door with a fanlight and glazing bars. There is a later extension to the left that shares the same roof, along with a small, irregular window. The datestone on the west gable indicates the year 1771, but it has been concealed by pebbledash applied in 1980.
