Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house dating to 1772, as indicated by a stone inscription on the first floor. It is constructed of rubble stone with timber lintels over the window and door openings, features moulded brick eaves, and has an old tile roof. The building has four chimney stacks. It is two storeys and an attic, with four bays containing 3-light, barred casement windows. A double door, which is half-glazed and barred, sits within a moulded frame in the second bay from the left. There are four hipped dormers, each with a horizontal sliding barred sash window. A stack located between the left-hand bays has carved stone displaying a shield to its front. A brick lean-to is attached to the left of the main building.
