Description

Yarlside Farmhouse and attached barn is an early 18th-century house combined with a barn, situated on Yarlside Lane in Bracewell. The farmhouse is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The ground floor has one three-light window and one two-light window, while the first floor has two two-light windows. All windows feature flat stone mullions and cast-iron lozenge-work glazing bars. A plain, square-headed doorway provides access. Adjoining the farmhouse to the left, under the same roof, is a barn characterized by a catslide roof, covering an outshut which has two windows with casements in plain surrounds.
