Description
Sunny Bank is a house dating from around 1800. It is built of limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The house has a double-pile plan with a central entrance and chimneys at each end. It stands two storeys tall and has three bays. The windows have plain stone surrounds; the outer bays feature tripartite windows with glazing bars and square mullions, while the central lights have either sashes or casements that imitate sashes. The central window on the first floor is a sashed window with glazing bars. The front door has a plain stone surround with a semi-circular head, a projecting keystone, and impost blocks, along with a fanlight that has radiating glazing bars.
