Description

Manor Farmhouse and the attached barn are located in Yatton Keynell. The farmhouse, likely from the 17th century, was rebuilt in 1748, while the barn at the rear is probably from the 18th century. Both structures are made of rubble stone and feature roofs covered with stone tiles and Bridgwater tiles.

The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has a four-window range. It includes ovolo-moulded recessed mullion windows, with four 2-light windows in the attic and four 3-light windows on the ground floor, all with hoodmoulds. A plaque between the left side windows states "Repaired 1748." The right end of the house features a stone-tiled porch made of ashlar, which has a coved cornice and a parapet, leading to a six-panel door. There is a single-storey extension on the left end, which has a 3-light mullion window with a hoodmould and a door to the left. The rear has an outshut.

Attached to the back of the farmhouse is a stone-tiled outbuilding that has a loft over a stable. This outbuilding features a small upper opening, a ground floor moulded single light with a hoodmould, and a door. Beyond this is a rubble stone barn, partly covered with stone tiles, which has a front gabled cart-entry and a rear hipped cart-entry. There is a lean-to structure to the right of the front entry and another lean-to on the end wall. The barn has tie-beam-and-collar-trusses.
