Description

Manor Farmhouse and attached barn, dating from the early 17th century, with some interior work from the 18th century. The farmhouse is constructed of random rubble with a double Roman tile roof and a coped verge on the right side. It features three prominent 19th-century brick stacks and a further brick stack to the left return. The two-storey farmhouse has attics within three front-facing gables, each having copings and bases for finials. There are mullioned windows with ovolo moulding: a 3-light window to the attic, a 4-light window to the first floor, and a 5-light window to the ground floor, each with a stopped label. A door opening is situated between the bay sets, leading to a gabled rubble porch with a coping and a double Roman tile roof. The inner door is 9-panelled, with the top three panels glazed. A gabled rubble barn is attached at a right angle to the left of the front of the farmhouse, with a small hayloft opening to the first floor and a plank door.
